- I Warm-blooded animal are treated by administering to the animal a dosage; effective to pxevent or to alleviate tb.e symptoms of measles and herpes virus, type II, of a compound of the formula I or its acid salt: (I) wherein R1 and R2 are selected from the class consisting of H and -CH3; and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the compound is 0.01 to 95% by weight of the composition.
