PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device of correctly route guiding even when the distance between continuous guide crossings is considerably short. SOLUTION: Each threshold in each step to the distance between the first guide crossing a for guiding the escaping direction from the crossing and the second guide crossing b just before it or to an estimated traveling time is provided, and the name of the first guide crossing a or the direction name of a road in the escape direction is guided until the number set by each threshold.
