<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication station (base station) that conducts radio frequency communication with a communication terminal on the basis of a code modulation system such as the W-CDMA, to provide its communication system and to provide a method for improving the performance of both incoming/outgoing channel signals in the communication station having a reception path. SOLUTION: A highly selective filter for selecting a desired frequency band is provided in primary and diversity reception antennas 70, 72 (on a reception path) receiving an incoming channel signal in a base station and the filter is coupled with a CDMA demodulator 107, which responds to a modulation signal on the basis of the code modulation system via low noise amplifiers(LNAs) 86, 88. The CDMA demodulator 107 is part of a data-processing module 100, to which the LNAs 86, 88 are connected directly. Thus, the improved performance including the reduction in a power control message of an outgoing cannel signal, reduction in a power level with respect to the transmission of the incoming channel signal from a communication terminal, and increase in capacity for both incoming and outgoing channels can be expected.</p> |
