<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize respective transmitters with a single external clock source even when a fault is generated among the transmitters relating to a clock reproducing device provided in the respective transmitters of a transmission network for which the plural transmitters are connected in a ring shape and the external clock source is connected respectively to at least two transmitters among the plural transmitters. SOLUTION: In a clock source list, a clock source corresponding to both of the transmitters 2 and 3 is present. A clock selection judgement means 13 selects the clock source with which the present transmitter 1 is to be synchronized. In the case that the present transmitter 1 is a slave device and a state where clock quality sent from the transmitters 2 and 3 is the same continues for prescribed time, clock quality transmission means 14a and 14b transmit the information of inhibiting use as the clock source to the transmitter relating to the clock source not selected by the clock selection judgement means 13.</p> |
