PURPOSE: To provide the password number registration system which can secure secrecy completely excluding the possibility of acquisition by a 3rd person other than a customer while the customer follows a stepwise procedure which makes it easy to remember a password. CONSTITUTION: The personal code number registration system, equipped with a card issue device 101 which has a personal code number input means, an acceptance terminal 201 of a manned processing center which is connected to the card issue device through a communication means and follows a registration procedure for a personal code number through human operation, and a host computer 301 for registration management which is connected to the acceptance terminal 201 and registers the applied personal code number, eliminates the need for the acceptance terminal 201 to output the contents of the personal code number transmitted from the card issue device by an output means. |
