PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a proper profile according to the use environment of automatic recognition equipment.

SOLUTION: This automatic recognition system for recognizing information recorded in a recognition object is provided with a head part for performing access to the information of the recognition object in a non-contact status and a controller part electrically connected to the head part for controlling the head part. The controller part is further provided with a profile generation means for acquiring the equipment setting information of the head part, and for generating a device profile relating to data communication with the head part based on the equipment setting information. Thus, it is possible to properly set the profile unique to equipment of the head part to be used according to an actual application, to achieve the optimal data communication suitable for its using circumstances.
