PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust exhaust pipe suction opening shape and the dust exhaust pipe and suction opening structure on which thermally sprayed films are hardly depositable in order to continuously thermally spray the cylinders and a thermally spraying device for the cylinder suitable for mass production of the cylinders for the purpose of continuously executing the same. SOLUTION: The thermal spraying device for the cylinders is constituted by holding the cylinder at a turntable, moving a thermal spraying gun in an axial direction within the bore of the cylinder under rotation to subject the inside surface of the bore of the cylinder to thermal spraying and arranging the suction opening of the dust exhaust pipe for sucking the dust in the bore of the cylinder below the cylinder to suck and expel the dust in the bore of the cylinder. The caliber of the suction opening of the dust exhaust pipe is made larger than the inner diameter of the bore of the cylinder.
