PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which developing pressurization is released till insertion of a main body and the developing pressurization is generated simultaneously with insertion of the main body. SOLUTION: A drum unit 108 and the developing unit D supporting a photoreceptor drum 7 are individually formed in an image forming device and then both units D, 103 are joined to constitute a process cartridge. In this process cartridge, a developing pressurization temporary releasing mechanism by a planar cam 106, which is elastically deformed inside by being regulated by a main body guiding member when inserted into an image forming device main body 14, is provided on an outer wall of the process cartridge B. The developing pressurization temporary releasing mechanism is operated in a stage before the process cartridge B is inserted into the image forming device main body at first time to keep a state in which developing pressurization is not applied to the photoreceptor drum 7 of a developing roller 10d. When the process cartridge B is inserted into the image forming device main body first time, a dowel 102C is released by being pressed by deformation of a guide for operating the elastic planar cam 106 on the outer wall of the process cartridge installed at the image forming device main body to apply developing pressurization. |
