PURPOSE:To enable a user to quickly and accurately cope with the abnormal end of a computer by devolving a hybrid inference based on a series of executing instructions given to the computer from the user and the history of the executing state status, etc. CONSTITUTION:A computer execution diagnostic device is constituted of an input device 1, an input/output device 2, a computer 3, a display device 4, an input history memory circuit 5, an executing history memory circuit 6, a diagnostic rule selection circuit 7, an inference executing circuit 8, and a diagnostic rule data base 9. When the computer 3 has an abnormal end, a user decides the using purpose of the computer 3 based on the history of the executing state status and the abnormal end status (error code) which are outputted while the processing is carried out based on the history of an input executing instruction and an executing instruction. Then the user refers to the history for the factor of the abnormal end. This factor is inferred with track-back carried out up to an input command level and this inferred factor is quickly offered to the user. Thus the user can cope quickly and accurately to the abnormal end of the computer. |
