The method involves electronically storing the individual tones of each harmony provided by a rhythm instrument. The tones are associated with respective adjacent keys (1) of an electronic keyboard, e.g. a master keyboard, a synthesizer, or sampler, and are activated by operation of a switch function key (3). An Independent claim for an electronic harmony simulation device is also included.
