PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple lid for a tray container with excellent appearance which can be easily covered on the tray container having a flange and meet requests for resource saving and cost reduction. SOLUTION: The simple lid for the tray container which is covered on the tray container having a flange part comprises a top surface part of substantially same shape as the outer periphery of the flange part and folded parts continuous thereto via folding line on both sides thereof. A cut is provided in a center part of the folding line along the outer periphery of the flange part, a short cut is provided in both ends of the cut so that the folding parts are partly inserted inside thereof from the outer periphery of the flange part, realizing a substantially tapered, U-shaped cut so that the folding parts are locked by the flange of the tray container when the folding parts are folded downwardly. A cut is made in the top surface part at the position corresponding to upper and lower ends of the flange part of the tray container, and the cut is of a shape of a semi-circular locking piece with its center part directed inwardly. |
