PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval device for retrieving a manufacturing machine capable of manufacturing an object shown in a CAD drawing and to provide a program thereof. SOLUTION: The retrieval device 1 has a performance database 15 by machine type storing performance data indicating performance by which the manufacturing machine can manufacture for every machine identification name of the manufacturing machine, and has a means for receiving the input of specification data of the object shown in the CAD drawing as a retrieval key, a machining process selection means 10 for selecting necessary machining contents from the specification data, a retrieval means 12 for retrieving the specification data and one or more machine identification names allowing machining contents using the performance database by machine type, and a means for outputting the machine identification name as the results of retrieval. Furthermore, it is preferable to have a standard part database 16 storing specification data corresponding to standard parts every standard part. |
