PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piano handle type switch having a luminescence display portion which can be surely fixed without any difficulty, allowing no coming-off by impact or the like. SOLUTION: A luminescence display portion 113 is fitted into the opening portion 43a of a piano handle 43, and the peripheral edge of a fixing portion 113b is placed on a step portion 43b formed on the inner periphery of the opening portion 43a. Simultaneously, a back face temporary fixing pin 113c is inserted into an insertion hole 43c formed in the step portion 43b of the opening portion 43a so as to fix the luminescence display portion 113 to the piano handle 43, and thereafter, the same is fixed by ultrasonic wave heat welding.
