PURPOSE: A preamplifier read recovery parade is provided to minimize noise related to inductance by switching the non-read state to the read state actively, and to cut down expenses by reducing the area of the chip with simplifying the control circuit. CONSTITUTION: The transition of a hard disk drive system from a non-read state to a read state is decided. Transition sequence from the non-read state to the read state is started when a transition from the non-read state to the read state is determined. The transition sequence is independent of the non-read state prior to the transition. The read mode(104) is initiated after the non-read state to read state transition sequence. A system controls transition from the non-read state to the read state associated with a preamplifier in the hard disk drive system, and comprises a detection circuit detecting completion of the non-read state and the non-read state to read state circuit executing transition from the non-read state to the read state. The system comprises a read state initiation circuit starting the read state after the execution of the series of events.
