PURPOSE:To enable clear images to be obtained on an OHP screen, by providing a thin light-shielding heat-shrinkable film on a light-transmitting base which supports the film. CONSTITUTION:The base 1 is formed from a light-transmitting material having such a softening point as to endure heat of a thermal head, e.g., a polyester, and serves as a support for the film 3. The film 3 consists of a heat-shrinkable film of, for example, polyethylene terephthalate opacified by mixing a dye therein, and an adhesive 2 adheres the base 1 and the film 3 to each other. The film 3 is depressed downward by a platen 5, the heat generated by the thermal head 4 is transmitted to the film 3, and the film 3 is perforated by electrical signals according to an image. Since the film 3 becomes transparent only at the perforation parts thereof while remaining opaque at the other parts thereof, an OHP film passing light only through the image part is obtained. Accordingly, images with high contrast can be formed, and when projecting the image by an OHP, clear images can be obtained on the screen. |
