PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set wherein a plurality of ink compositions, which are composed of color ink compositions and/or a black ink composition, is combined to lower color bleed substantially. SOLUTION: The color bleed lowering purpose is solved by using the ink set in ink jet printing, wherein it is characterized in that the set is composed of a first ink in which a pH-sensitive self-dispersion type pigment is dispersed and a second ink in which pH is regulated so that the pigment dispersed in the fist ink is coagulated and which contains a water soluble dye of another color different from the color of the first ink.
