PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washer-dryer capable of securely preventing washing foams from entering from the inside of a drum into a heating means and a blowing means incorporated in a blowing and heating path when washing foams are excessively generated. SOLUTION: A first electrode 62 and a second electrode 64 for detecting foams generated during washing are arranged in a hot-air blowing path 61 in a downstream side and a dehumidifying section 63 on the upstream side of the blowing and heating path 67 respectively and the excessive generation of the washing foams are detected respectively, thereby preventing securely immersion due to the infiltration of the washing foams from the drum into a heater 65 and a blowing fan 66 incorporated in the blowing and heating path 67.
