摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer apparatus which is adaptive to both unidirectional and bidirectional flow. SOLUTION: A cylindrical filter 2 provided inside a casing 1 sections the inside and outside thereof into an inflow chamber 3 and an outflow chamber 4. Two inflow ports 6 are provided on an upper lid 11 and two outflow ports 7 are provided on a lower lid 12, and between both inflow ports 6 and the inflow chamber 3 and between both outflow ports 7 and the outflow chamber 4 are each communicated, also between one inflow port 6 and one outflow port 7 and between the other inflow port 6 and the other outflow port 7 are connected by a flowing water pipe P through three-way selector valves 20, respectively and each of the three-way selector valves 20 is provided with a check valve 21 for allowing only inflow in a flow path to the inflow port 6 and a check valve 22 for allowing only outflow in the flow path to the outflow port 7, and thus the strainer apparatus is adaptive to the flowing water pipe in which the flow is generated bidirectionally. Also, since communication to the inflow chamber 3 and the outflow chamber 4 is formed concentrically with the cylinder axial center of the filter 2, even when a back wash function is added by a hollow rotary shaft 13 passing through the upper and lower lids 11 and 12, it does not obstruct uniform sticking of the foreign substance to the filter 2.
