<p>PURPOSE:To detect continuously the existing direction of a target when it is seen from a flying body by a method wherein the antenna beams of a transmission antenna and a receiving antenna are rotated about the axis of the fuselage of the flying body. CONSTITUTION:A signal generated by a signal generating circuit 1 is transmitted from a transmission antenna 2 as antenna beams. A signal among the transmitted signals, which is reflected from the target, is received by a receiving antenna 3. The received signal is sent into a detecting circuit 4 and the position of the target is detected by the detecting circuit 4. The main body of a proximity fuse 7 is rotated by a rotation driving unit 6 whereby the antenna beams of the transmission antenna 2 and the receiving antenna 3 are rotated about the axis of the fulelage of a flying body. Signals among the transmitted signals from the transmission antenna 2, which hit the target and are reflected, are received only when the receiving antenna 3 is opposed to the target. The receiving timing is detected by the detecting circuit 4 whereby the existing direction of the target when it is seen from the flying body can be detected. The detecting signal is sent from the detecting circuit 4 into a firing circuit 5 to ignite the warhead of the flying body.</p> |
