METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CIRCULAR DICHROMATIC ANALYSIS
摘要
Two beams of linear-polarized light having planes of polarization orthogonal to each other, the difference in frequency between which is predetermined, are combined to provide modulation for alternately generating right-hand and left-hand circularly polarized light. This modulated light is emitted to a sample (3), and the intensity of light transmitting through the sample (3) is measured by an optical detector (4). The modulation component of the output of the optical detector (4) detected by lock-in detection to measure the difference in absorption factor of the sample between the left-hand circular polarized light and the right-hand circular polarized light.
