<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and correctly conduct coaxial arrangement of a valve element and an upstream end part of a second intake passage without being affected by joining error between two blocks structuring an intake manifold. <P>SOLUTION: In the intake controller for the engine, the intake manifold M is structured by the first and second blocks M1, M2 separated by a middle part of a serge chamber 2. In the first block M1, the second intake passage 4 is provided and a downstream end part 3b of the first intake passage 3 is attached via support posts 10, 10' arranged along an opening and closing direction of the valve element 8. In the second block M2, another part 3c of the first intake passage 3 except for the downstream end part 3b is formed and an annular end surface sealing member 13 tightly contacting with the other confronting part along mutual conjugation of the first and the second blocks M1, M2 while surrounding the first intake passage 3 is provided at one of the downstream end part 3b and the other part 3c of the first intake passage 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
