<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station device whose synchronization with communication terminal equipment can be prevented from being lost at the time of switching its operation from an operating transmission system unit where any failure occurs to a space transmission system unit. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring part 103 monitors whether or not any failure occurs in transmission system units 101-1 - 101-N forming a transmission signal. At the time of detecting the failure, the monitoring part 103 notices the detected result to a host control part 104, and switches its operation to a spare transmission system unit 102. The host control part 104 notices the resource information of the transmission system unit whose failure is detected to the space transmission system unit 102. The space transmission system unit 102 gives the setting of a common control channel necessary for synchronizing with communication terminal equipment 107 with highest priority to more quickly generate the common control channel, and wirelessly transmits it through a radio part 105 and an antenna 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
