PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, low cost, and highly reliable optical fiber module having a high degree of freedom in designing the mother board. SOLUTION: An optical fiber module consisting of a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) 30, an upper frame 10, and a lower frame 20 penetrates a mother board opening part 61 and a lower frame opening part 21 with a mother board 60, and is fixed with a tapping screw 70 at a top frame opening part 11. Electric coupling of the optical fiber module and the mother board 60 is achieved through a PCB connector 32 and a mother connector 62. Display of safety notations, etc., is provided in the upper and lower frames 10 and 20.
