PURPOSE:To provide a high strength geared hollow shaft which is inexpensive, light is weigh and excellent in a product yield rate. CONSTITUTION:A geared hollow shaft S is composed of a hollow shaft 10 which uses a round steel pipe 11 as a raw material and has the tip 13 closed by drawing work, and a gear 20 which uses a forging as a raw material, and has a bottomed hole 21 in an axial center part and a gear 26 on an outer periphery, and is liquidtightly welded to the end face 16 on an opening side of the hollow shaft 10 on the end face 23 on a bottom side of the bottomed hole 21. |
