Insulated core coil with glued turns - having intermittent, sequential adhesion zones in longitudinal direction

The coil is wound from an insulated core (1) and has adjacent turns glued together. The glued connection is carried out by intermittent adhesive zones, successively arranged along the core with a diamitial spacing, pref. larger than simple core dia. but smaller than its triple dia. In adjacent turn layers, the adjacent turns are glued together by adjacent adhesive zones. The zones may be formed by a solvent for the core insulation. In the coil mfr., the subsequent coil layer may use adhesive points on incoming coil. USE/ADVANTAGE - Remote control appts. with easy unwinding of coil turns without damaging core insulating sleeve.
