PURPOSE:To provide an aerobic organism treating device capable of preventing the formation of a carrier concn. distribution and preventing degradation in treatment performance. CONSTITUTION:This aerobic organism treating device for sewage in which carriers immobilizing with microorganisms are held in a suspended state is provided with a raw water supplying section 2b capable of supplying raw water from plural points on one side face of the inside 3 of the device. Plural treated water outflow sections 6b having screens for preventing outflow of the carriers immobilizing the microorganisms are disposed in the water surface layer part of the upper part of the opposite side face on one side face. The device has means capable of adjusting the air quantity of an air diffusion device installed on the bottom within the device on a raw water inflow side 5a and a treated water outflow side 5b, in addition to the above means. The treated water outflow section is formable as an overflow trough having a screen in its side part.
