The dispensing pump for viscous materials comprises a housing having a through bore. A dispensing tube extend from the second end of the bore and a tubular sleeve is provided in the bore. A supply introduces a continuous supply of the viscous material into the tubular sleeve. A rotatable feed screw in the tubular sleeve is coaxial, the feed screw having threads that entrap the viscous material in a relatively large volume bounded by the threads and the wall of the sleeve and which upon rotation of the screws, force the material toward the dispensing tube while compressing and reducing the volume of the material between the threads and the wall of the sleeve. A rotating drive at the first end of the bore rotates the rotatable feed screw a predetermined amount. The supply introduces the viscous material through an opening in the wall of the tubular sleeve. The supply includes a passage through the housing extending from a source of the viscous material to the opening in the all of the tubular sleeve.
