The window sash (20) is locked to the window frame (10) by a steel bolt (25) which is held in the closed position by a current-carrying coil (14), fastened on the window frame, by a magnetic force. The coil obtains its current from a transformer fed by the electric ventilation. If the electric ventilation fails, then the coil loses its current, the steel bolt falls out, the locking is eliminated and the sash tilts automatically into an open position as a result of the special arrangement of the articulation, as a result of which natural ventilation is obtained. <IMAGE>
