Disclosed is a head mounted display (HMD) device. According to the disclosed specification, the HND device comprises: a transparent ocular display unit for displaying the screen; a photographing unit with multiple photographing devices for acquiring image data of light emitted from light emitting elements arranged on a wearable device, from the front view of a wearer; and a processor for performing a first computation of calculating relative location of an object against the HMD device based on image data acquired by different photographing devices, for sensing user interaction commands depending on the first computation result which is about the location of light, and for controlling the display unit to display a screen corresponding to the sensed user interaction command. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the HMD device and the controlling method thereof capable of controlling the screen of the HMD device intuitively with a hand wearing a wearable device. |
