The vibration transmission suppression device has vibration dampers (20) positioned on either side of a vehicle axle for damping the movement of the wheels (30), a bridge (40) for providing a rigid coupling between the support mountings (23) for the vibration dampers on either side of the axle provided by the IC engine (1) and fixings between the engine and the support mountings. The IC engine is supported from the chassis (10) via vibration damping engine mountings(2).
