<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary water heater fulfilling a fundamental concept of a home-use fuel cell power generation/water heating system as a fuel cell power generation/water heating system, and by which the effect of the fuel cell system can be further brought. <P>SOLUTION: A power generation stack 2 and a waste heat collecting heat exchanger 3 collecting the heat exhausted by the power generation stack 2 are housed in a fuel cell unit 1. The power generation stack 2 is cooled by a stack cooling water circulation pump 4, and the waste heat is collected by the waste heat collecting heat exchanger 3. A heat pump unit 5 constructs a cooling cycle by a compressor 6, condenser 7, a pressure reducing device 8, and an evaporator 9. The condenser 7 is constructed so as to be able to exchange the heat with a water cooling medium heat exchanging device 10. A fan 11 is constructed so as to be able to blow the air against the evaporator 9. A tank unit 12 comprises a tank 13, a pump Pfc14 supplying circulation water to the waste heat collecting heat exchanger 3, and a pump Pt15 circulating the water into the water cooling medium heat exchanging device 10, a mixture switching valve 16, and check valves 17, 18. The hot water supplying system comprises a hot water supplying valve 19, a water supply proportional valve 20, and a check valve 21.
