PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image being free from color smear by the image forming device of a tandem type. SOLUTION: This image forming device repeatedly formes combination of resist patterns of the respective color so that a formation area thereof becomes one round portion on a transfer belt. These resist pattern are detected, respectively obtaining data of color smear quantity of cyan, magenta can yellow with regard to the black are obtained one round portion of the belt, and a component derived from the rotary irregularity of a photoreceptor drum from data of the color smear quantity and a component derived from the travelling irregularity of the transfer belt are extracted and preserved. At the image forming time, a phase of the photoreceptor drum and the transfer belt (step S61) are detected, the color slippage data of the above respective component are made in alignment with a phase thereof (step S62), a correction pulse that timing for each scanning line to the photoreceptor of each color is corrected is generated, so as to eliminate the compounded color smear (step S63), and respective LED array is driven in accordance with the correction pulse (step S64). |
