PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce heat gelatinized food having appearance and quality similar to heat gelatinized food such as CHAWAN-MUCHI (a custard-like egg and vegetable dish steamed in a cup) and the like produced by using a usual steamer by heating in a microwave oven in a short time at a low cost. SOLUTION: This heat gelatinized food is produced by housing a liquid raw material 3 capable of being heat gelatinized in a vessel 2 having an upper opening 1, covering the upper opening 1 with a cover material 5 comprising a microwave-shielding material, covering at least the external side surface of the vessel 2 with a microwave-transmissible material 6 impregnated with water, subsequently heating the liquid raw material 3 in the vessel 2 by using a microwave oven. |
