An organic light emitting display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the durability and transfer efficiency of a light emitting layer by compensating the step of a device formed at a lower substrate. An organic light emitting display device includes a substrate(210), a first thin film transistor(230), a second thin film transistor(240), a planarization layer(260), a first electrode layer(270), a light emitting layer(280) and a second electrode layer(290). The first thin film transistor(230) and the second thin film transistor(240) are formed on the substrate(210). The planarization layer(260) is formed on the first thin film transistor(230) and the second thin film transistor(240). The first electrode layer(270) is formed on the planarization layer(260), and is electrically connected with the first thin film transistor(230). The light emitting layer(280) is formed on the first electrode layer(270). The second electrode layer(290) is formed on the light emitting layer(290). A dummy pattern(235) is formed in a section which faces an area where the light emitting layer(280) is formed between the first thin film transistor(230) and the second thin film transistor(240) formed on the substrate(210). |
