<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for reducing the total processing time of a job to an interrupting/resuming operation of the job, improving an operation rate of the image processing apparatus, effectively utilizing resources as a system, and holding confidentiality when resuming the job. <P>SOLUTION: An interruption indicating image screen 61 displays buttons 62 and 63 for selecting the length of interruption time, buttons 64 and 65 for designating the possibility of interrupt of processing by the other job and buttons 66 and 67 for selecting the existence of authentication processing in resuming, and the contents allocated to the respective buttons 62 to 67 are selected by moving a cursor indicated by a reversal display. For example, when the cursor moves to the buttons 62, 64 and 66 and an execution button 68 is pushed down, the interruption time of the job is set to " short ", and passing of the job is set to " permission ", and a resuming key is set to " issuing ". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
