PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition inhibiting propagation of plant virus diseases, excellent in prophylactic or therapeutic effects on virus diseases and having high anti-plant virus property.SOLUTION: An anti-plant virus composition is obtained by mixing an insecticide consisting of a neonicotinoid-based compound or the like and at least one selected from a group consisting of a compound represented by the formula (I) such as ascorbic acid palmitate or a salt thereof.
