METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STRIPPING COATED WIRE

PURPOSE:To strip a coated wire positively through a simple facility. CONSTITUTION:While transferring a coated wire 3 composed of a conductor applied with a coating layer 2, the coating layer 2 is stripped off the conductor and fed out to a coating passage 4 by feeding air therein whereas the stripped conductor is fed out to a conductor passage 5 different from the coating passage 4. A branch pipe 25 for feeding the coating 2 to the coating passage 4 is branched from a main pipe 24 for feeding in the stripped coating wire 3 and feeding out only the conductor, and a pipe 26 for supplying outer air into the coating passage 4 is branched from the branch pipe 25.
