<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire with improved on-ice performance while being new in initial traveling. <P>SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is obtained by adhering particles on a tread surface before vulcanization, and then vulcanizing them. The particle is at least one kind selected from a group comprising resin whose Rockwell's hardness (R scale) is HRR80 or higher, or whose Rockwell's hardness (M scale) is HRM60 or higher, minerals whose Vicker's hardness (Hv) is 20 or higher, and vulcanized rubber whose type A durometer hardness is 40 or higher. After the particles are adhered on the tread surface before vulcanization, they are vulcanized, to obtain a pneumatic tire with improved on-ice performance while being new in initial traveling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
