<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-handle wiping sheet having high sterilization effect. <P>SOLUTION: The wiping sheet is formed by impregnating a sheet body containing cellulosic fiber with a chemical liquid. The weight of the chemical liquid is one to three times of the dry weight of the sheet body. The chemical liquid contains 0.01-5 wt.%, preferably 0.02-0.7 wt.% of a cationic polymer sterilization agent. Preferably, it also contains 1-60 wt.%, preferably 5-30 wt.% of alcohol.
