<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black ink for ink-jet recording enabling stable recording of an image having high fastness and excellent picture quality over a long period independent of the recording condition. <P>SOLUTION: The black ink for ink-jet recording is composed of a polymer dispersant, a water-insoluble coloring material, a water-soluble organic solvent and water. The water-insoluble coloring material is one or more materials selected from C.I.Solvent Black 3, C.I.Solvent Black 27, C.I.Solvent Black 29 and C.I.Solvent Black 45, and the polymer dispersant is a block copolymer composed of a hydrophobic block and a hydrophilic block and produced by polymerizing a vinyl ether as the monomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
