PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress opening of a carcass cord in a shaping process to improve uniformity with respect to a radial tire.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire manufacturing method performs steps of: molding a green case 10 by winding cylindrically around the case with a tire constituting member including at least one layer of carcass ply 14; molding a green tire by swelling out the green case 10 toroidally by liquid supplied to inside thereof and attaching the case to a tread ling 17 arranged outside in a radial direction; and vulcanizing and molding the green tire in a metal mold, where in the molding of the green tire, the fluid is supplied in a pressure profile which gradually changes. In the pressure profile, first shaping pressure P12 by which the green case 10 is swelled out at 35-40% of swelling amounts at which the case is swelled out from a non-swelled state to the inner diameter of the tread long 17 is lower than second shaping pressure P13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
