摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve the information transmission efficiency without transmission of a specific reference symbol by generating a timing signal corresponding to a valid symbol period based on the correlation between an orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) modulation signal delayed up to a timing when a signal for a guard period is coincident with an original waveform and an OFDM modulation signal not delayed. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing signal used to fetch a signal for a valid symbol period is generated from an OFDM modulation signal having a guard period in which a signal of the valid symbol period is mapped in part of the valid symbol period. That is, a delay circuit 33 of a symbol synchronizing circuit 32 delays the OFDM modulation signal up to a timing when the guard period is coincident with an original mapped waveform. Then a correlation circuit 34 obtains the correlation between the delayed OFDM modulation signal and the OFDM modulation signal not delayed. Then a timing circuit 35 generates a timing signal corresponding to the valid symbol period based on an output of the correlation circuit 34. |
