PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent and a method for inducing the differentiation of cells which highly densely manifest high affinity IgE acceptors and to provide a method for determining allergy causative agents through the use of the differentiation-induced cells. SOLUTION: Nitrogen monoxides are brought into reaction with cells with differentiation potency to human granulocytic-series cells, or nitrogen monoxides are brought into reaction with IgE to induce the differentiation of cells which highly densely manifest high affinity IgE acceptors. After mixing the differentiation induced cells with the serum of an allergic patient, an allergy causative agent is added to be cultivated to measure the amount of liberated histamine. By this, it is possible to determine allergy causative substances.
