PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an operational burden on a user when a display screen is made into an optional screen display, in a control system for a vehicle-mounted apparatus controlling the vehicle-mounted apparatus having the display screen and the vehicle-mounted apparatus for use in the system. SOLUTION: An operation of the vehicle-mounted navigation apparatus 100 is simulated by a personal computer, and a simulation screen the same as a display device 11 is displayed on a display of the personal computer. A QR code corresponding to the simulation screen is printed from a printer connected to the personal computer. The printed QR code is prepared in the vehicle. Thereafter, when a screen corresponding to the QR code is desired, the QR code is read with a portable telephone, and the QR code is transmitted to a BT communication device 17 of the vehicle-mounted navigation apparatus 100 from the portable telephone. After the BT communication device 17 receives the QR code, a control circuit 9 decodes contents of the QR code, and changes over the screen of the display device 11 to the screen corresponding to the QR code.
