<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for inkjet recording in which a coloring material that is substantially insoluble in water can be stably dispersed in the ink and resulting printed matter has both excellent image quality and excellent rubfastness, and to provide a method capable of simply obtaining the excellent ink. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recording ink comprising colored resin particulates in a dispersed state is characterized in that the colored resin particulates are composed of a plurality of charged resin particulates comprising a silicon element and having a weight average particle size of 0.01-0.1 μm adhered to the surface of water insoluble coloring matter which has an average particle size of from 2 to 30 times larger than that of the charged resin particulate and has a weight average particle size of 0.5 μm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
