PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored particulate dispersion excellent in storage stability and injection stability as an inkjet recording ink, a method for producing the same and an inkjet recording water-based ink using the same.

SOLUTION: A method for producing a colored particulate dispersion comprising mixing a coloring material and a resin and dispersing the mixture in water is characterized by using a high-speed agitation emulsifier having no gas-liquid interface within the emulsifier.
