A locking device for a container is disclosed. According to the present invention, the locking device for a container, fixating an upper container and a lower container to each other comprises: a housing; a first connection member disposed in an upper end of the housing and installed and fixated to be separated from a coupling unit of the upper container; a second connection member of which a portion protrudes to the outside of the housing to be fixated to and installed in the coupling unit of the lower container to be separated, installed inside a lower end of the housing; and a unlocking unit unlocking the second connection member. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a locking device for a container, wherein the locking device is automatically locked only by loading and unloading the container in multiple stages and the locking device is unlocked only by pulling the unlocking unit provided in the locking device.
