<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device capable of efficiently and stably straightening curling of a sheet, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Curling of a sheet is straightened, while the sheet is conveyed by a curl-straightening part 70 provided to the downstream side of a fixing part for fixing a toner image transferred to the sheet on the sheet by heating and pressurizing. A pair of rollers 71 and 72 of the curl-straightening part 70 is constituted of a first roller 71, having a roller part 71a formed of an elastic member whose heat conductivity is low and a second hollow roller 72, having higher hardness than the roller part 71a of the first roller 71 and small heat capacity, whereby the pair of rollers 71 and 72 is warmed by the heat of the fixing part and also maintains a warmed state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
