PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric component socket while prevents trouble from being generated by a large protruding amount of a lower contact member, by reducing the protruding amount while securing a stroke amount of an electric contactor and securing a contact pressure to a wiring board and an electric component.SOLUTION: An electric component socket 10 comprises a socket body 11 and a plurality of electric contactors 12 which are disposed while being inserted into a plurality of through-holes 21 and 31 that are provided in the socket body. The electric contactor 12 includes: a lower contact member 50 having a lower end portion 54 being in contact with an electrode of a wiring board 1; an upper contact member 40 which is inserted into the lower contact member and has an upper end portion 44 in contact with a terminal 4 of an electric component 3; and energizing means 60 that is disposed within the lower and upper contact members. The lower contact member 50 includes a lock part 58 that protrudes from an outer wall part 57. While the electric contactor 12 is not disposed in the wiring board 1, the electric contactor 12 is moved by a dead weight and the lock part 58 is abutted to a locked part 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
