The invention relates to acylated α, ω - aminoalcohol derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> wherein R1 is hydrogen or an R13 group, wherein R13 is optionally substituted alkyl or alkenyl, and R11 is alkyl or alkenyl. The invention further relates to the process for the preparation of the compounds and the use thereof as insect and mite repellents.
